We have worked with this client before, and she is a busy and ambitious female business owner who just needs an extra pair of hands...and eyes...and ears. While this role does include the regular office management tasks - you know, the ones that just make a business hum - it also includes some more exciting and 'out of the office' tasks that will stretch your skillset and knowledge.

Location: Wallaroo, ACT and remote work (tech provided).

We are seeking a highly organised and dynamic Executive Assistant to join our boutique building company. This role is pivotal in supporting the Managing Director (MD) and requires a proactive individual who thrives in an inclusive and vibrant environment. The ideal candidate will be the MD's right-hand person, adept at multitasking and eager to take on additional responsibilities during quieter periods.

Responsibilities:

- Efficiently manage a variety of tasks and projects with the ability to work autonomously and oversee business operations.

- Handle financial tasks such as receipt management, reconciliation, and basic finance operations.

- Provide basic support for our social media presence, contributing to our fun and engaging online presence.

- Offer both remote and in-person support, tailored to the needs of the MD and the incumbent, with flexibility to accommodate school hours.

- Oversee all aspects of office management, including supplier liaison, order placement, and builder support.

- Facilitate the onboarding process for new staff, maintaining meticulous records of registration, certification, licenses, and insurance.

- Exhibit a 'go-getter' attitude, with a willingness to support the MD across all business facets.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in office management, business support, or administrative roles.

- Ability to work with limited supervision, demonstrating initiative and self-direction.

- Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and external partners.

- A commitment to fostering a flexible and inclusive workplace culture.

This position is ideal for someone seeking a dynamic role that supports work-life balance and offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a growing business. If you are a motivated individual looking to contribute to a team and support the success of our company, we would love to hear from you.
