Six years in, still growing and building

🎂 Celebrating six years of Country to Coast EA… which, in business years, feels like a lifetime and a moment all at once!
This anniversary feels a little like the first again. My curiosity is back, and the entrepreneur in me is wanting to build another layer. I want to push against the grain again.
The shine of “remote EA” has settled a little, and what’s emerging now feels more interesting than that. It’s about showing how the EA function can plug into a modern workforce in a way that actually makes sense. Not defaulting to full-time but finding the right fit and trusting that the right fit is the long-term fix.
Support that’s flexible, considered, and genuinely aligned to what a business needs. Something sustainable, that can grow and shift with an organisation.
My thinking isn’t fully formed just yet, but I know I want to crack that egg.
And I have more space to do that now. My little boy (gah, he’s 10!) needs me a little less in those everyday moments. There’s more riding home from school, and less of me waiting at the gate and running back to the desk. It’s a shift, and I’m really aware of how special this new space is.
I want to protect it, but also use it well. To grow this business in a way that feels right, to reach the kind of clients I love working with, and to keep showing up for the ones I already have. My clients are the reason I press the start button each morning, and I genuinely love being part of what they’re building and helping them move things forward.
It feels like a new chapter, but a grounded one. I’m so excited to bring it to life.
